Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai came under Enforcement Directorate scanner. As per latest, the department is investigating a case against Aishwarya doubting she may have allegedly received Rs. 50 lakhs through the sinister hawala system from an event organization in Dubai .
Not only Ash, the ED department is also probing whether other stars namely Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, who were supposed to perform in the event along with Ash, have got any payment through hawala.
Though the show was later cancelled but as per an ED official, recently a raid was conducted at Manun Thakur Talenting, a small firm in Andheri which was the Dubai firm’s indian agent, and some documents have been seized from the company, where they have got some indications of these stars have got money through hawala channels.
As per reports, in Aishwarya’s tax returns there is no mention of any such payments. We however couldn’t contact Aishwarya to know her reaction.
Couples of week back, a mysterious parcel, addressed to her Bandra residence, containing 23, 000 euros, had put Aishwarya in trouble. That time, however, the customs department had given her a clean chit. Now a new problem as arises, it seems the trouble time is hard to be over from her life.
