in just released ‘Guru’, Vidya Balan has played a mere minuscule role, which has disappointed many of her fans, especially who have seen her playing leading roles in ‘Parineeta’ and in very recent release ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’.

“There have been many a slip between the cup and the lip. Mani Sir edited my role. But i’ve no complaints. He did it keeping in mind the larger interest of the film. i trust his judgment.

i haven’t taken it to heart,” said Vidya in a recent interview. At the same time the pretty actress didn’t forget to remind that ‘Guru’ is a male-centric film all the way.

The film’s story revolves around a dream-chasing industrialist, played by Abhishek Bachchan. Though Aishwarya played the female lead in this movie, but Vidya doesn’t think it’s an Aishwarya Rai film.

Even she is not ready to call it an Abhishek-Aishwarya film also. “Guru’ is Abhishek’s film and Aishwarya played his wife,” said Vidya.
