Speculations are rife that actress Celina Jaitley may play the

female lead in Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s historical love story ‘Prithviraj-Samyukta’.

Recently, she did a hush-hush photo shoot with Mahinder Soni in a classical Indian look. And the pictures were stunning.

The Indian outfits were designed by Anna Singh while the ‘Umrao Jaan’ brocade look was designed by Ritu Kumar.

When contacted Celina refused to divulge any details.

‘I just wanted to experiment with my look, since I am doing interesting and varied roles,’ she said.

And what gives credence to the speculation is the fact that since Aishwarya Rai, who was Dwivedi’s first choice for the role, is busy with her international assignments, the director is on the lookout for a light-eyed actress and Celina fits the bill.

The actress, who debuted with Feroz Khan’s ‘Janasheen’, was a part of last year’s blockbuster ‘No Entry’.

Currently, she is looking forward to ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’, ‘Shakalaka Boom Boom’ and ‘Red’.
