Now they’ve had the whole world including astrologers and tarot card readers speculating about the date of the wedding of the year.
While the stars played innocent and claimed they had not set a date, insiders have revealed that the date has finally been set for April 19.
Work pressures or family commitments?
So why have Miss Rai and Junior B played such a cat and mouse game? Is it for privacy or is there another reason?
Insiders claim that Ash wanted to keep the wedding dates under wraps as she was worried about scaring off directors of her upcoming projects of all the projects – Sarkar 2, Raaste, Shriram Raghavan’s next film with John Abraham and many more.
The stars can’t even wait as, apparently, Ash and Abhishek are in quite a hurry to tie the knot as their respective schedules don’t give them much time to spend together with Abhishek busy shooting for ‘Drona’ in Jaipur and Ash for ‘Jodha Akbar’ in Karjat.
But again insiders say that Ash and Abhishek are keen to tie the knot before anything goes wrong, since both have had a fairly chequered past at least where relationships go.
The Bachchan family is also keen that the nuptials should take place as soon as possible mainly for Abhishek’s ailing grandmother.
But while the date has been confirmed by a source very close to the Bachchan family, the venue still remains a mystery.
