Amitabh seeks Balaji’s blessings for Ash-Abhi
Published by seo4india April 17th, 2007 in NewsBig B, Amitabh Bachchan offered prayers in the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Sunday and sought the blessings of the Lord for his son Abhishek Bachchan and his would be daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, ahead of their wedding.
Amitabh Bachchan, accompanied by Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh and Reliance Infocomm chairman Anil Ambani along with a cousin of Aishwarya Rai arrived at Tirumala at 8 am on Sunday.
He visited the temple and placed ‘Lagna Patrika’ of his son’s marriage at the feet of Lord Balaji. As per family tradition, he also offered clothes and ‘pasupu kumkum’ to Lord Venkateswara and Goddess Padmavati for the success of marriage.
Amar Singh sought blessings of the Lord for the victory of Samajwadi Party in the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, while Anil Ambani sought the blessings of the Lord and placed the papers of the new business venture he has taken over recently.
All the three VVIPs offered Rs 51 lakh each as donations to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for different endowment projects on the occasion.
TTD Executive Officer APVN Sarma presented Srivari prasadam and vastrams to Amitabh Bachchan, Amar Singh and Anil Ambani, while temple priests gave them Vedashirvadam.
