According to sources, Aishwarya Rai’s first release after marriage will be her Hollywood flick ‘The Last Legion ‘, which will hit the Indian screens in August. It is a classic period drama featuring Ben Kingsley and Colin Firth with Ash as the only female lead. The film will have simultaneous release worldwide and will also be dubbed in Hindi.

After Paul Mayeda Berges’s Mistress of Spices and Jagmohan Mundhra’s Provoked where she plays Indian characters for an international audience, in The Last Legion she’ll finally play a character that has nothing to do with her nationality.
