Relax and don’t let your imagination run wild. Madame Tussauds has managed to do what Salman Khan could not.

The famous wax museum has chosen the shirtless Khan to be part of their Bollywood collection. And, at least here he has beaten his bete noire Abhishek Bachchan to the post.

But he will be sharing the room with Aishwarya’s father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan. Salman came out tops in a poll conducted by the internationally renowned museum, entertainment magazine Ikonz and BBC Asian Network.

He beat nine other Indian stars including Abhishek Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit. Sources told that Salman’s closest competitor was Abhishek. Officially, the number of votes garnered by Salman is yet to be declared..

Salman will now join the coterie of Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Ben Lovett, PR Manager for Madame Tussauds, was quoted by a website as saying, “Over 10,000 fans and visitors voted in our poll, and we’re over the moon that Salman Khan is the winner. The Asian market is critical to our attraction and our association with Bollywood — particularly the launch of Shah Rukh Khan earlier this year — has seen a dramatic increase in the number of Asians, from both the UK and abroad, visiting and enjoying Madame Tussauds. We hope to build upon this exciting relationship with the unveiling of Salman.”
