The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan insists that contrary to popular perceptions, her attitude to her career remains unchanged.

The Bachchan bahu, who’s just back from a wedding in Jaya Bachchan ’s family in Bhopal, is quoted as saying in a report, “My attitude to my career remains unchanged. I remain the same. It’s people around me who imagine I’ve become a different person.”

Ash also denied the recent reports that she would be doing a salsa dance at an event.

“They insist on portraying me the way they perceive me to be in their minds. And never mind if they’re way off the mark. One report says I’ll be performing the salsa at a soap-sponsored event. Does that look anything like me?” Ash retorted.

Ash is flooded with offers for films but her priorities right now she wants to focus on her family duties and wants to do very selective work.

Reports are that Ash wasn’t sure about working in the Pink Panther sequel because at that time Mrs. Teji Bachchan was critically ill and the former Miss World didn’t want any distractions from her family duties, but it was Abhishek Bachchan who urged her to take up the offer.

Jodhaa Akbar , which stars Ash opposite Hrithik Roshan is scheduled to release on February 15.

Reports are that Ash wouldn’t even speak to her husband on the phone while shooting, forget causing distractions by bringing guests to Karjat where Ashutosh Gowarikar was shooting, or not giving Hrithik his cues while he was emoting.
