Aishwarya Rai looked svelte and breathtakingly beautiful at a press event to unveil the first look of the film Summer of 2007 at The Club, Andheri, Mumbai on Tuesday March 25.

Just last week we had wondered if we will ever see Aishwarya svelte again? Well we have got our answer. Our skepticism was obviously misplaced but sometimes it is a delight to be proven wrong!

Since the film is about five young friends Aishwarya’s youthful attire, skinny jeans and a sleeveless floral print top with ruffle detail on the neck, made the right statement. She matched her outfit with pink stiletto pumps.

She showed off her well manicured hands adorned with her favorite set of rings – A chunky ring on the index finger, a V shaped diamond ring on the right hand ring finger and a blue sapphire ring on the left hand middle finger.

Her razored hair was ironed straight with an off center parting and tresses draping her shoulders.

Her skin looked flawless and her smile was brighter than the flash of our camera!

The film stars Sikander Kher, Gul Panag and Yuvika Choudhary of Om Shanti Om fame.

Sikander Kher, son of Anupam and Kiron Kher, is a childhood friend of Abhishek Bachchan who is wrapping up the filming of Dill 6 in Jaipur.

Aishwarya apparently filled in for her absent husband and, we are sure, made Sikander’s day.

Present on the occasion were Mama Kher, looking elegant in a silver tissue saree, and Daddy Kher, looking very bald and Prem Chopraish in a coordinated with wife attire. Last we heard he was in London shooting for Karan Razdan’s Mr. Bhatti on Chutti.

The leading lady Gul Panag was missing.

We were excited to see Neetu Chandra at the event, but this time she was smiling at us from the right lips! Maybe she did not have the time to get her Brazilian waxing done before the event. It could also be that she has put her commando days behind.
