The actress also said that working with director Shankar is truly a learning experience. The emerald-eyed beauty said that it was exciting to work with these two stalwarts. But she admitted that she had a hard time practising Tamil after eight long years. Aishwarya’s last Tamil film was Kandukonden Kandukonden in 2000.
But the svelte actress was tight-lipped on her upcoming project with Mani Ratnam. She said, “I am bound by ethics and cannot divulge much information on it except that the project will start 10 days from today.”
It is going to be a very busy year for Aishwarya with her participation in Mani Ratnam’s bilingual and Shankar’s Robot. But Shankar is making great adjustments in film schedules to give her adequate rest and time to work in Ratnam’s film. Director Ratnam too has promised Aishwarya leniency in schedules and breaks. Now, that should put a smile of relief on this beauty’s face.
