What could not happen seven years back is happening now. Vishal Bharadwaj had unsuccessfully tried to make a film with Aishwarya Rai in 2002. That project could not materialize, but both Ash and Vishal – respectful of each other’s talents – promised they would work together whenever a right project came along.
Well, that project has now come along and is set to take the shape of a film. After finishing his Kaminay with Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra , Vishal would work with Ash. The project is not likely to go on floors soon, but will roll by the end of this year.
Before that Ash has a number of films to shoot for. She is presently committed to Mani Ratnam’s Ravana and Shankar’s Robot . She is set to pair with Akshay Kumar in a Vipul Amrutlal Shah film. She has also given her nod to directors Abhinay Deo (director of Delhi Belly ) and Rituparno Ghosh.
