Post marriage Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s career is going full steam ahead.

After signing big movies with Mani Ratnam, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vipul Shah’s next with Akshay Kumar and a movie with Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani’s production house, now her dream of working with Vishal Bharadwaj is also coming true.

Ash has been impressed with Vishal’s work for a while now. Vishal had taken up direction way back in 2002 with the highly praised children’s film ‘Makdee’. He followed it up with the commercially and critically acclaimed flicks ‘Maqbool’ and ‘Omkara’, becoming one of the most respected filmmakers of B-Town.

These days Aishwarya is in New York. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been invited by the makers of Pink Panther 2 to attend the world premiere of the movie to be held in New York on February 3.

The former Miss World will be promoting the movie with lead actor Steve Martin. According to reports, Ash will tour the US and then travel to Madrid, Moscow, Paris and Berlin for the film’s promotion.

Reports also suggested that hubby Abhishek Bachchan was to travel with her but it seems that he is caught up with the promotion of his own film.

According to the grape vine, she is also set to receive a prestigious French honour.

The actress is also planning to celebrate hubby Abhishek Bachchan’s birthday (February 5) there along with Bachchan family.

But a source informs that Aishwarya will accept the honour only if her ailing father gets well by that time.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s name has recently been announced for Padmashri honour by the Indian government.
