The couple were married 10 days ago in Mumbai and last Saturday morning a Stuff reader said he saw Ms Rai at Papeete Airport. He was boarding an Air New Zealand flight home while she had just come in on the inbound flight.

She was seen to give an autograph to a person at the airport.

Rai, who was spotted transitting through New Zealand to Bora Bora on her honeymoon, is one of India’s biggest stars.

The sessions court in North Bihar has issued the summons for the stars and director ‘propagating indecenty’ in Indian society. They are summonsed to appear before the court on or before 30 May.

Bollywood megastar Aishwarya Rai has been summoned to explain an “obscene” kissing scene, Indian officials said on Saturday, just days after a similar row engulfed Hollywood’s Richard Gere.

Aishwarya Rai, Bollywood’s hottest bride, will take her new husband’s famous surname to become Aishwarya Bachchan.

Rai, who married Abhishek Bachchan last weekend in a gala affair dubbed “the wedding of the century,” has already signed an autograph as Aishwarya Bachchan, said her father-in-law, Indian superstar actor Amitabh Bachchan.

A Muzaffarpur court has issued summons to actors Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan to appear before it on May 30 in connection with a kissing scene in the hit flick Dhoom 2.

District Judge H K Shrivastava ordered issuing of summons to them after taking cognizance of a complaint petition filed by an advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha.

Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai would be leaving early Friday morning on their honeymoon to the exotic locales of Europe.

Sources close to the couple said the duo would be leaving by an early morning flight for France and be spending their time mostly there during their fortnight stay in Europe.
