Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai has been showered praise from none other than Sir Ben Kingsley, who co-stars with her in The Last Legion and calls her an “excellent and outstanding” actor.

Kingsley, who won an Oscar for Gandhi, said Aishwarya would surprise movie buffs with her performance in the film.

Aishwarya Rai to act in Taj film

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is set to star in a major film about the Taj Mahal, India’s famous monument to love.

Rai, 33, will play the role of Mumtaz Mahal, the favourite wife of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan who built the stunning monument for her.

In all probability, Bipasha Basu’s first international project will be a Mughal historical featuring Ben Kingsley and Aishwarya Rai.
