Contrary to rumours, Aishwarya Rai is still a part of Shankar’s sci-fi thriller, Robot. However, Aishwarya, who is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, will have to work on her look before she starts shooting for the film. The filmmaker has asked an already svelte Aishwarya to lose six kgs as the actress will have to perform some stunts in Robot.

It is learnt that Ash is not only working out meticulously in her gym but also is on a strict diet to lose weight quickly.

A source close to the actress says, “Shankar has asked Ash to lose weight for Robot. Ash needs to look very thin as she will also be performing some action sequences in the thriller. To be precise, Shankar has asked her to shed six kgs. Robot director Shankar has asked Aishwarya Rai to shed 6 kg weight to be in shape for her role in the Sci-fi film that also stars Rajnikanth.

But that is not the news. The real news is that Aishwarya has already started to loose the weight, through gymming and dieting, ending recent tabloid speculation that she is pregnant and has withdrawn from the film.

There is more than one reason that the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is looking forward to the ‘Unforgettable’ tour.

The ‘Unforgettable’ Bachchan concert tour featuring Amitabh Bachchan , Abhishek Bachchan , Ash and with Jaya Bachchan probably being coaxed for a friendly appearance, would begin this July.

Speaking about her first family tour, Ash said: “Yes, it’s on in July and August. It’s wonderful to be on stage with Abhishek and Pa (the Big B). Aishwarya Rai wants to get back in to shape. She is following a strict diet and exercise regime. Apparently she requires being the way she was before marriage to get back in the business.

“Ashwarya thinks she has put on a lot of weight after the wedding. So she is working very hard as she wants to go back to her earlier shape and weight. She is going to the gym regularly and is on a very strict diet,” says a close friend.

Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar were supposed to join the ‘Unforgettable’ tour.

They opted out citing lack of time as the reason for their unavailibity for the joyous jamboree that would take the Bachchans through several European and American countries for a good two months.

Bollywood Beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan denies playing the role of Jhansi in Ketan Mehta’s Jhansi Ki Rani. A report says that Ash has walked out of the movie because she is tired of playing mythological characters.

But Ash’s verdict is something different. According to her, she had never signed any such project and the media has mistaken her playing the role of Jhansi as she was practicing horse riding and sword fighting for Jodhaa Akbar and not for Jhansi Ki Rani.
